The hostel is situated in the centre of Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark. Here, you will get as close as you will ever come to the Danish history of the Viking era and the Middle Ages.
There is less than 10km to the unique nature experiences in and around the Wadden Sea, one of the world’s 10 most important wetlands - and a National Park from 2009.
Rooms in the hostel have 2-4 beds (July dorms up to 8 beds). Facilities include self-catering kitchen, many cosy places and a courtyard to talk or relax . Ribe hostel has the official eco-label: The Green Key.
We welcome guests from more than 35 different countries every year and our helpful personnel have many years of experience and are committed to giving our guests the best advice and guidance.
Walking through the old town centre, you will find Ribe Cathedral, the Museum Ribe’s Vikings, Ribe Art Museum, Ribe Train Station, speciality shops and many cosy cafés. The hostel has no curfew.
