Hostel Details
YHA Byrness (Forest View) is set in the tiny hamlet of Byrness on the edge of Kielder Forest and Northumberland National Park, just a few hundred yards from the Pennine Way. The building has recently undergone major refurbishment with new divan beds, carpets and curtains, and all rooms have 2, 3 or 4-beds. Central heating is supplied by an Eco - Friendly wood pellet boiler and hot water by Solar panels, while the log burning stoves in the quiet room and dining room keep the hostel cosy all year round. Cyclists can take advantage of the secure storage for up to 10 bikes. Meals can be provided or guests can prepare their own food in the well equiped self-catering kitchen and there is a large selection of beers and wines on offer. The hostel is open all year for individual or group bookings. Please ring for details of special offers.
